About this app

MarLiN2 is a fully automatic LN2 (liquid nitrogen) refill system. It consists of a high precision electronic weighing scale, a magnetic valve and an intelligent and versatile controller that automatically tops up an unpressurized LN2 dewar from a supply line, e.g. a pressurized large LN2 dewar. The marLiN2 system is the perfect addition to an Oxford Cryosystems Cooler (600, 700, 800 series) or similar systems and can be retrofitted easily to existing systems.

The heart of the instrument is a general purpose weighing scale. Therefore, the marLiN2 system can generally be used for any application with the requirement to trigger some action at given weight thresholds and can easily be tailored to deal with other applications than cryogenic work.

The weighing scale can be controlled and monitored from mobile devices. The marLiN2 app allows for triggering a refill and constantly updates the current weight and fill level.

What’s new

Migration from Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) services to Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), the new default push notification service by Google. The GCM service implemented in previous versions of the Android app is not functional any more, i.e. push notifications will not be delivered with the old version of the app. Also, FCM requires a firmware update of the MarLiN2 firmware to version 2.x.
