About this app

This app is intended to work together only with sttID RFID reader hardware supporting Bluetooth communication.
It can receive and display transponder data forwarded by a sttID reader via Bluetooth.
Before doing so the reader needs to be configured. Use the app to perform a Bluetooth pairing between your sttID reader and your Android device once only:
- Make sure the reader is powered on and has Bluetooth enabled
- Start "sttID Handheld Manager" app and select the "CONNECT TO READER" menu
- The app will scan for Bluetooth devices near by and list the found ones
- Select the sttID reader from the list and confirm connecting it
- Bluetooth connection between Android device and sttID reader is established then and Bluetooth address of Android device is saved within the reader for future use.

sttID reader will automatically create an outbound Bluetooth connection to sttID Handheld Manager app on your Android device (if no connection exists yet) each time a RFID transponder is read and data is available to be forwarded.

The received transponder data is displayed in the app then.
