■Origin of the Name Tapple
The word "tappuru" (tapuru) comes from the idea that "tappuru" (tappuru) creates "couple." This is a dating app for finding a "marriage partner" or "a potential partner for marriage."

Ratings and reviews

Even if you pay to read messages, they try to charge you more just to swipe (only 20 per day). Paying should allow you to swipe an unlimited amount. Oh, and swiping left (not interested) on someone ALSO uses one of your swipes. So you can only look at 20 profiles a day, even if you've paid. A massive number of fake profiles or inactive users on this app. Matched with many people (especially before paying), and only one responded to messages, and stopped almost immediately.

Very disappointed with Tapple. Immediately after paying for a 6 months subscription (JPY 13,200!), I have beer shut out of my account, with no explanation at all, with no refund, no recourse possible or way to contact them. I have paid for 6 months and was able to use it for 5 min. It is not acceptable to cancel a service and not issue a refund. I feel cheated and stolen! I would like Tapple customer se.vice to contact me, explain the reason for deleting my account and issue a refund.

Literally the worst dating app I've ever used. Even with an expensive paid plan, you get very limited points. I don't mind having limited likes, as with Pairs, but even just swiping left on someone uses a point. There's basically no ability to browse users, so the only way to see new people is to swipe. It's a scam with the sole purpose of extracting as much money as possible from users. While they have their faults, Tinder, Bumble, and Pairs are all infinitely better. Avoid this app.
