I used to use Amazon for my tech purchases but Newegg quickly won me over once I became someone who was deeply researching PC upgrade components and upgrading my PC on my own. They have excellent AI tools built into their site and app, as well as flexible payment options (not just Affirm, but PayPal's 4-payment version). They also have their own version of PC Part Picker, great comparison tools, an AI chatbot to ask questions and research companies, sellers, specs, etc. Snappy, fast, reliable.

I have found, over the many years that I have been buying from Newegg, that I can rely on the equipment or parts to work. I tried buying a few things from another large retailer and the experience was the opposite. I bought two processors at a lower price and neither of them worked. I have built and updated my computer 5 or 6 times and have never had an issue with anything purchased from Newegg.
