About this game

Have you ever dreamed of being a train engineer? Train Simulator PRO 2018 will let you drive carefully modeled locomotives leading passenger or freight trains across the eastern half of the US. Whether you like fast passenger locomotives or powerful freight movers able to pull dozens of cars, in our game you will find it all. Whatever you choose, you will have to watch out for speed limits, rail crossings, signals and other trains. Plan your route wisely to maximise profits and create the most powerful railway company in the US!

During your travels, you can admire photo-realistic graphics including cities, suburbs, factories, countrysides and many more. Each locomotive includes a carefully-rendered engineer’s cabin with working levers and gauges for maximum realism. However, you have to be careful as driving recklessly or pushing the brakes for too long may damage the train. So put your engineer’s cap on, and let’s get rolling!

I like the game, but fix the bug where the engines don't have enough power to go up those hills. That's just not realistic. Me being a train engineer, it's not realistic at all. And give options for engine colors. Final thing, did you get permission to use the NS below the number. That's not an engine designation, that's a RR company's logo initials. Get rid of that please.

All in all this is by far tgs greatest train simulator I've played! The graphics are amazing! The landscapes, weather changes, train detail, and people detail is phenominal! I will say this for any one thinking of trying it, give the game time. Learn the gameplay and controls before you judge it. My first go around didn't go well and I was ready to quit on the game and and thought it was terrible. But once you get used to it, the game is very relaxing and enjoyable. That all being said if I could make any suggestions I'd ask for a few things that would result in a 5 star rating as opposed to the 4/5 that I'm giving it: The road crossings seem lazy. The cars just know to stop. There are no flashing lights, no bells, and no rail guards preventing them from crossing. For a game of this magnitutde I'd expect to see that fully functional. Then when pulling into a station... No train just pulls up quietly or honking the horn. There should be a bell option as well as the train whistle or horn. It would seem more realistic that way. My last point is not all that important but it would be a nice small change... There is no conductor operating the train. I realize in certain aspect views it is supposed to see as you Are the conductor, but I mainly like to view the train moreso than view from the engine. It would be nice to actually see someone in there, but maybe that is just me. All in all like I said, phenominal game! Great purchase! Easily the best train simulator 4/5!

Definitely a good way to kill some time. unfortunately it will cause excessive heat and battery drain plus there are only six engines to build up to. It'd be nice to see some good ol Steam Engines in this game to mix things up. There's also no lighting in the cities, towns, buildings or on the passenger cars so its like driving a train through a power outage. Add some more engines that are steam powered and some lighting in the cities and on the passenger cars and youd have a better game.
