I got through the first couple boxes, was having a pretty fun time, and then closed the game. When I came back, it seemed to have not saved all of my progress. After a lot of experimentation, I found that this game requires an internet connection to save, and even when you do have internet it feels random. Which kind of defeats the point of a mobile game that you can take anywhere. redoing the same 20 levels 3 times just isn't fun.

I'm on a galaxy S20, and there seems to be a bug where clicking the "boxes" to start levels is tuned to be so short that normal presses do not register. It took me a while to figure out that if I tapped as quickly as I could, or just double tapped, then I could get to the level selection screen. I hope this helps some people. I'll change my review if this gets fixed. Last time I played this was when I was a kid. I just got it because I had a dollar to spend.

After I paid not to see ads I eventually stopped seeing them. I love the paid version of the game. I loved it so much I've played three other Om-nom adventures since this game. In revisiting old games, testing out my new phone, I discovered the initial bad review I gave this game. My apologies to Om-nom. I should have followed up on that one years ago. I'll have to cuddle the Om-nom plushie my children bought me for Christmas ten years ago to make up for it.
