This is the original Google calendar released for Android.

This free calendar app is simple, clean and without gimmicks or ads. We intend on keeping this basic version Free for as long as we can. Duoserve Calendar has everything you need in a calendar app - whether you want to use this calendar as a family calendar, personal calendar, or as a business calendar. You can look at your appointments in 4 different views: Agenda Calendar View, Daily Calendar View, Weekly Calendar View, and Monthly calendar View.

Our Monthly calendar view is unique because you can scroll vertically, indefinitely through months and see how busy your schedule is. Our calendar is also completely free, and completely ad free! Very rare to find out there. This calendar app additionally features recurring events, appointment reminders, and color coded appointments/events.

Easy to use, and I found it faster than any calender when adding events and detailes related to those events. Calendars easily synched in one place, and can be added or deleted at anytime. Real time synching, not like some other calendars that might take some time to reflect on my shared family calender. I didnt even try to import my calendars from different accounts, and this app had done it as soon I opened it for the first time! Great app and very easy to get used to.

This is the best calendar on the app store without any question (trust me, I've tried them all!) This is the only one that has a decent search function, allowing you to find historic appointments/information easily. The others fail miserably in this department. I'd hope to see more options added to the menu in future for example a few more themes and setting default week start/time but I'm clutching at straws. Great app.

2021: Now adds very annoying random "Calendar is running" notification every couple of minutes. Surely there is a better way of staying alive? Silent notification or something. Previous review: Almost couldn't be better. Excellent app, excellent widget. And what I have always used. Only very minor issue is notification tone won't seen to change off default at the moment.
