Of course a palworld like game that actually sounds worth it's salt comes out for the phone and it ends up being a dang city builder. It starts off good for about an hour before it settles into the whole "send troops do the guild thing" routine. The exploration in the game feels like a genuine afterthought, isn't repeatable, and is ridiculously easy since it doesn't let you explore new areas until your town center is leveled up to the point where your pals are way stronger than the exploration.

Game is absolutely fantastic! That was until I reached level 5 and noticed this is an RTS game, and not at all as advertised. It's (according to ads and preview images) supposed to be a simple catch and build a base. Who would have thought this was an RTS? Extremely misleading and I guarantee support will respond to this with a generic copy pasta.

I wanted to defend this game. I love the community. Joining a guild and helping it get stronger together. It's fun. But as the game updates, it's becoming more P2W in the most predatory way. The current event is the perfect example. There is no way to get any of the unique prizes without paying money. It's specifically set up that way. One of the quests is to buy a $4.99 pack. That's insane. I'm still playing, but am increasingly less interest each new update that requires payment to participate
