The DPD app offers you a variety of useful features:

● Track: Live tracking lets you see exactly where your package is currently located. We'll tell you exactly when we ring up to you.

● Tax: Determine yourself when and where we deliver your package. If you are not at home, you will never miss a package again thanks to our rerouting options. For example, we can deliver your parcel to the neighbor, leave it in a safe place, such as the garage or the garden shed, or deposit it in a pickup parcel shop of your choice. We also gladly deliver your parcel to another location or day - of course also on Saturdays!

● More personal than ever: Define your individual delivery preferences such as the shop of your choice and the permanent parking permit. Or tell us how we can notify you about your package, such as: B. by push message or e-mail.

● Send: You can also send your parcels directly via the DPD app - with just a few clicks and without a printer and paper thanks to a mobile parcel label.

● Access anytime, anywhere: Register and benefit from automatic synchronization between all your devices, such as mobile devices. Smartphone, tablet and computer. So you have access to your packages at any time and from anywhere.

Ratings and reviews

The app it self isn't actually horrible. Most of the time does what its supposed to do but could definitely be better especially the UI. 1 star because they lie, don't even attempt to deliver and force you to go pick your own package. Over these past 4 years I've yet to get a single package delivered by them 🙃

Unreliable app is front-end to catastrophically bad parcel service. Unfriendly and incompetent staff (who will let you wait for 40 min. on the phone, then hang up if they don't like your question), make damaged, late packages delivered to wrong addresses or stored at grimy pickup points at the other side of town the rule, rather than the exception. I have reached a point where I prefer ordering from online shops who do NOT use DPD as their carrier. Now THAT'S name recognition.

The app was showing me for 3 days that the package is on the way to the pick up station. It usually gets delivered on the same day, but I waited anyway for the confirmation. The website where I ordered didn't have new information from DPD as well. Since the notification never came, I went to the pick up station to ask how long does it take because I was about to leave for vacation. The owner told me that the package was already there. So because of DPD I would probably never get my order. 🙄
