PPSSPP is the original and best PSP emulator for Android. It runs a lot of games, but depending on the power of your device all may not run at full speed.

No games are included with this download. Use your own real PSP games and turn them into .ISO or .CSO files, or simply play free homebrew games, which are available online. Put those in /PSP/GAME on your SD card / USB storage.

I've been sinking hundreds of hours into this emulator, the PSP library is already amazing, but being able to enjoy it with upscaled graphics, while being able to use any controller of choice, truly knocks it out of the park. If anyone else out there has issues running a game, make sure your phone is powerful enough to handle it, and check if anyone else has had any similar issues at the PPSSPP forums, most of the time a single change in your settings can make all the difference!

The emulator is great, but I'm having problems with some games recently. One of these games is "GTA: CHINATOWN WARS", the game takes a long time to start, the app stays on a startup screen. Another problem is the crash, the app freezes when I press to go back to the menu, then a crash, I don't know what the problem is, it's nothing related to the game or my device, but it's a bug in the app. I hope they fix it 💔

A perfect emulator, completely free. Does everything right and provides plenty of customization options, including multiple video settings, gamepad resizing and cheat support. It is intuitive and has a nice interface. I had no issues whatsoever. IMHO, the free version could have ads or limited features to make more people want to pay for the gold one.
