The Dresden Transport Museum shows on 5000 square meters of exhibition space exhibits on the history of the different modes of transport: Railways, urban transport, road transport, air transport and shipping. The museum was opened in 1956 and is located in Johanneum, an annex of the Royal Palace at Dresden's Neumarkt.

Visitors can experience various exhibits up close such as to fly in a helicopter simulator.

Ratings and reviews

I was unable to figure out how to play the audio guide until several days after leaving the museum. The field where the exhibit number needs to be entered is plain black and unmarked. It does not look like an UI element. It looks like a black border, and it's impossible to guess that it's there one must tap before it becomes possible to enter a number. I cannot give this a good review since I couldn't use it during my visit.

Could not change the language for audioguide

Leider funktioniert der audio guide nicht. Der Download der benötigten Dateien beginnt nicht. Sonst enthält die App nur Infos die man auch aus dem Internet bekommen kann. Sinnlos. Deinstalliert.
