the game itself is very good but there's an issue where some music starts to play after you've been in the app for around 5 minutes, the music won't turn off even if I have the music and sounds off in settings and it makes my device lag a lot so much that after 20 seconds of the music playing my phone tells me that cells using working and that I should close it, this happens in multiple occasions around 5 or 6 times across days and it really really does looks like ads running in the background.

The new update made the game a lot more stable. improved from 2* to 4* because of this. sadly still some crashes caused by playable ads. old review for context: Quite fun and educational game. Lots of content to explore. However, since the main mode was reworked, ads regularly crash the app. Watching ads should give bonuses, but due to the crashes, this has become unreliable. If this gets fixed, easy 5*. As is, I can't recommend the app. It's on Steam as well maybe that version works properly.

I would love to give this game 5 stars, however, the adverts (even though officially optional) are so frustrating! The game really does take time and patience, to unlock the next discovery. So, to gain more 'money' you either accept the low amounts or you watch an advert to boost it. The coming back and doubling what you earned while you were gone, perfectly okay. but if you want to multiply your production to X4 you may have to sit through 13 adverts to get to that point. Which is ridiculous!
