Still can’t gather your strength? It happens pretty often. Writing books is easy; it’s hard to write good books. If this were not the case, we would all be creating bestsellers.
Every writer spends a lot of time thinking about a novel. Perhaps you are doing some research. You are calculating how the story will develop. You brainstorm, hear how the characters speak: it’s the essential part of creating a book. Your book has already formed in your head, and you are ready to sit down and start writing.

Organize your books

Before you get down to business, you should deal with organizational issues. It would be best to write down all the ideas in a form that you can then use. But why? Because our memory is unreliable and because your story (like any other that is at the same stage) has many holes that need to be patched before you start working. It would be best if you created a plan for the novel: in this case, it will not discourage you from writing.

The Fabula app is based on the “snowflake method” invented by Randy Ingermanson. You can quickly write novels, stories, fairy tales, fanfiction, any story. In just nine easy steps, you can create an outline for your book and start writing your first draft.

Ratings and reviews

I like the app because it's so simple and quiet. I'm using it to write my story, but I have two problems: 1. It doesn't support landscape view. And I really type faster when I rotate my cellphone. 2. It doesn't have multi-device support. I have three devices and if I could have my writings online, I could use Fabula everywhere, not only on my cell-phone.

a first user here. for me there were unintuitive things happening: 1. i didn't expect the tutorial chapters to be editable directly nor did i expect them to be overwritten as a whole while trying to. 2. double-tapping and long-holding onto the ten sections didn't get me where i wanted to be, instead single-tapping did. 3. i expected a done-marking or deletion for the tutorial chapters when swiped, not an info about themselves. 4. where do belong important items (≠ art)? 5. german translation...

This app is amazing! I love everything about it, especially the relationship diagram. However, I think it'd be really cool if you added categories for characters (like how when you make a series, the series name appears above the books) because I would usually put my characters in a particular group, so it's kind of a hassle when trying to figure out who's in a group or not, I would just have to put it in their biography. Other than that, I'm looking forward to any new updates!
