About this app

THIS IS NYBY
Nyby is a digital tool that connects resources and needs in our society. Nyby makes it easy to ask for help and easy to contribute. For everyone.

Nyby is an app, but we like to think of it as a new way of organizing the welfare society. In Nyby, public, non-profit, voluntary and private organizations can work side by side with relatives and neighbors.

HOW IT WORKS
Nyby is built around groups. For example, you can become a member of a volunteer center, a home care unit service, or be employed in a department that uses Nyby.

In Nyby you get access to a personal menu of channels in which you can submit requests, and you get an overview of what your group leader has approved you to contribute.

For example, you can easily request, for example, that someone can go to an appointment or follow the doctor, or you can even provide language training or help with using the computer. Everything is arranged using the app's messaging service and appointment feature. And, if you are wondering about something, your group leader is available just one click away.

Ready to join? Welcome to Nyby!

Opening requests from notifications is buggy, and direct messages frequently don't load in the app even if I have notifications about them. I also get more than enough notifications from the app as is, so getting a generic "can you pwease hewp more" notification that has nothing to do with any specific request, is extremely annoying and should be possible to disable.

I don't want to be forced to send you my phone number to enter the app. We should get the change to look if it is for us first.
