Ratings and reviews

Although this app is a treasure trove of gifs, the app itself is broken in many places. I can't access my profile, can't login to the giphy website on the browser with the same password I logged in to the app, can't save a gif as "favourite", when I search for a gif it loads only one or two samples and the rest of the page is just coloured blocks of nothingness (although I'm connected to highspeed Wi-Fi). I could add more but I'm busy. It's sad app made by interns, I assume

Nice platform with a very extensive collection of gifs. However, I do notlike that I must provide access to my camera to create gifs. I just want to import files into the app, not open my forward camera every single time I want to create. EXTREMELY SERIOUS privacy concern here!

Very good for easily making your own gifs, but the search function is kind of a mess. Searching for specific movies, shows, games, etc, will often to lead to many things that are not what you searched for. And what's the point of adding tags if you can't browse tags, like how hashtags work on X? It really needs a filter or a "search by tag" option so we can get past all the junk. Or just stop recommending gifs that are only adjacent to the search term altogether. Other than that, good app.
