Windy.app - wind, waves and weather forecast app for surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, sailors, fishermen and other wind sports.

The app has been working great for me, but recently I'm getting notifications while I"m not using the app about nonsense that has to do with the app instead of anything to do with the weather. I don't want "CHECK OUT THIS NEW FEATURE!" notifications, but there isn't a way to turn them off. If I turn them off from the android side then I don't get wind alerts. Having the info about a new feature showing up when I open the app is fine, but notifications when I'm not using it? Not cool.

Useful app. Thanks. Keep up the useful work. You need to think more from a farmers point of view. Useful! Still waiting for the farmers info. Still waiting for information thought out for farmers.17/07/22 After using your app for 4 years, you are now forcing me to register or buy pro. I don't like that. That is too aggressive marketing. Actually having used your app for so long, the thing to do would have been to give me a pro version. As it is I won't be using this app no longer. You lose.

Bearing in mind a lot of the more high profile weather apps seem to have set the bar fairly low, after my 7 day trial it's pretty accurate. The interface seems a bit daunting at first (there are three settings though to mitigate this), but if you want more than an app just looking out the window for you and still getting it wrong, this'll do nicely.
