The Navarrabiomed exhibition presents 9 science actors in the format of large-scale sustainable sculptures. The pieces expose some advances in biomedical research and present the current challenges. As a visitor, you will be able to learn about the challenges and opportunities that the integration of biomedical research into the clinical practice of the public health system has brought about, based on the work carried out by Navarrabiomed over the last decade.


How does it work

Stand at a distance of approximately 1-2 meters in front of each sculpture and focus on it with your mobile to fully immerse yourself in this interactive adventure. After a first visual impact that offers the possibility of interacting with the piece thanks to 3D visualization and RA technology, click on the "+ info" button to access additional information. Do not forget to activate the sound on your mobile to enjoy a totally immersive experience.

About Navarrabiomed

Navarrabiomed is a public research center created in 2012, promoted by the Department of Health of the Government of Navarra. Its mission is to promote, facilitate and carry out biomedical research to implement and develop therapies that improve the quality of the public health system.

In 2016, an agreement was signed with the Public University of Navarra for the development of Navarrabiomed as a joint center with the aim of promoting biomedical research and enhancing the competitiveness of the region's biomedical sector.

Currently, the center is organized into 18 research units and 6 scientific-technical services for the promotion of scientific research and technological development: Biobank, Clinical Trials, Methodology-Evaluation of health services, Proteomics, Animal facility and experimental operating room, and Blanca of CellMa advanced therapies, which brings together a total of 120 researchers. Through its support units, Navarrabiomed facilitates and promotes research carried out by more than 250 health professionals from other public centers in the region.
