AllCast lets you send photos, music, and videos on your Android to your TV!

AllCast lets you cast to:

* Chromecast
* Amazon FireTV
* Apple TV
* Xbox 360, Xbox One
* Roku
* WDTV
* Samsung, Sony and Panasonic Smart TVs
* Other DLNA Renderers

This is the free version of AllCast, which shows ads on the phone while it is casting. Upgrade to the premium version to remove the ads.

*Permissions:*

Internet - Streaming from Dropbox/Drive
Wifi/Network State - Check if wifi is on
Change Wifi States - Search for devices on local network
Wake Lock - Keep Android on while streaming
Read/write External Storage - Play from SD Card
Read Phone State - Used for premium license verification
Get Accounts - Search for Google accounts
Use Credentials - Log into Google Drive
Superuser - Google Music casting

I'm updating this review in 2021 from 2014. It's improved a lot since then. It now generally works very well most of the time. Make sure you exclude the app from optimisation or it will stop playing. I would love to see the option of automatic playing of the next file in the folder till you stop it. Also a LAN network (NAS) file browser. Reccomend. Try it.

Samsung c series TV, great for downloaded files. Would be great to see the twitch part work. I have purchased the full version. the twitch section finds no content, the video files I have in Google Drive were unsupported, but ones I'd edited with Mobazine in mp4 format played well. it would be good if we could have one drive as well as Google Drive, or even drop box as that seems to be everywhere. be nice to see this app functioning so it's useful.

This app used to be amazing. I upgraded to premium, and it was 100% worth it. I've had it so long, I can't bring myself to rate below 3 stars, that's how rock solid it was for so long. Now, it never plays ANYTHING on my Chromecast or Xbox. The listed formats do not play, regardless of file size. It never works anymore. Hoping next update fixes, because I used to use this daily. Note 8 running latest Android Oreo.
