In Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, you bring some of the universe’s most powerful warriors to lightning-fast tactical skirmishes where you are in full control and only superior tactics can deliver victory. CREATE THE ULTIMATE WARBAND
It’s your task as a collector to build your collection into an elite league of warriors capable of meeting any challenge. Equip your heroes with the ultimate gear, wrestled from the hands of your enemies, to enhance their attacks, armor, and abilities on the battlefield. Not every warrior is ideal for every task, however: Make key strategic choices in who to promote and pick teammates with complimentary abilities to maximize your chances in battle!

ENGAGE IN TURN-BASED BATTLES

Ratings and reviews

Really love the art, really love the idea and campaigns (still love assault, raid and such but less intensively) but the game fun is greatly hindered by the pace at which you unlock the characters or the time needed to restore energy and tokens (for assault and such). Really putting the game as a "pay to win" or worst "pay to play" (where you don't pay once and then own the game) Let's see where it goes. May update the review consequently!

The game was extremely fun at first, but then the fun suddenly stopped. Leveling up your characters is too complicated and the game forces you to play other races in order to gather leveling materials for the characters you actually want to develop, which is an unusual approach but I don't like it. Also the terrain is low-res 2D which is bad for a tactical game. Otherwise there are tons of content to play so if you like Warhammer and turn based games you'll probably like it.

I enjoy playing this game most of the time. It is slow for players that don't spend $$, but not as bad as most. You can still grow to top levels slowly. My negative issues are to do with the match making. It does seem more fair now compared to a few months ago. I dont expect to win every battle, but being defeated in 1 or 2 rounds by a team half of your power seems a bit suspicious. That and the many crashes just when you begin a mission that took hours to begin.
