About this game

Kryss is a crossword game you can play solo or with friends. Take turns with the computer, a random player, or someone you know.

Every game brings a Scandinavian-style crossword, also known as an arrowword, that you haven't solved before, with clues and drawings to help you. Crossword puzzles and arrow words in 12 languages, free to play.

HOW TO PLAY
You get five letters each turn and one minute to place them in the shared crossword. Score bonus points for completing words, getting the key letters right, and using all five letters in one turn. Every letter you place stays on the board for the other player too, so sometimes it pays to save a letter for later.

PLAY YOUR WAY
- Solo: take turns with the computer
- Random: get matched with another player
- Friends: play with friends and family, and tease your best friend in the chat for being the slowest player in the universe
- Up to 20 games at the same time, with a notification when it's your turn

Ratings and reviews

I absolutely love the game. There are way too many bugs. I have never been successfully able to play a game in expert mode, the wheel just spins and spins. So annoying. The game freezes alot, especially during quick play.....makes it not so quick. Very few incentives without watching an ad or paying out of pocket. I think it's time to give the game a break and come back in a few more years to see if things have improved.

I enjoy the game and being able to play with my family and friends. There are a lot of adds and prompts to pay for additional items. I do continue to get one pop-up and I'm not sure if it is from the game or something else prompting me to scan my phone for threats.

My games won't load sometimes. I click on an in-progress game and I just get a spinning circle. Sometimes watching my daily games ads will get things moving but more often than not, I have to keep closing and restarting. I think it might be the challenge items at the top making the game "get stuck". Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help either.
