Windy.app - wind, waves and weather forecast app for surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, sailors, fishermen and other wind sports.

The app has been working great for me, but recently I'm getting notifications while I"m not using the app about nonsense that has to do with the app instead of anything to do with the weather. I don't want "CHECK OUT THIS NEW FEATURE!" notifications, but there isn't a way to turn them off. If I turn them off from the android side then I don't get wind alerts. Having the info about a new feature showing up when I open the app is fine, but notifications when I'm not using it? Not cool.

best weather app for actually getting your head around what the weather is going to do. I use it for surfing, about to buy a sailing boat so will subscribe at that stage but it's got enough going on for free without being too in your face about spending money. One suggestion, it can be tricky to match colours to the heatmap key at the top of the weather maps so an arrow against the colour for that particular hour would be helpful. Recomended though, good work!

I remember the app from several years ago. it offered a wide variety of weather data from around the world. Now the app seems to be geared towards simple people, who don't explore but just go hunting and fishing or whatever at the same "spot," and never care about weather anywhere else. This app doesn't even have a temperature map! are you serious? I hope I didn't pay for this app, it's not even good as a free app.
