About this app

The Cochlear™ Baha® Smart App empowers you to manage your hearing experience by giving you control over your sound processor. The Baha Smart App is also your gateway to Remote Assist, allowing you to receive video calls from your hearing care professional and have adjustments made from home, without traveling to the clinic.

Without logging in you have access to some basic functions.
• Change volume and program.
• View connection and battery status.
• Update the sound processor firmware.
• Access to support information.

Log in with your Cochlear Account to unlock the app and access features that allow a more personalised experience.
• Adjust bass, mid and treble using the equalizer, and apply Presets for different listening situations.
• Save sound adjustments as Favourites.
• View sound processor data logging in Hearing Tracker.
• Locate a lost sound processor.
• Simulate sound processor signals.
• Create and manage your Cochlear account.
• Self-manage device registration and clinic association.
• Access Remote Assist, if available in your country or region.

Update - this is still an issue over a year later. Your app keeps losing connection. If your device is made to run with the app, then please fix it! The Bluetooth keeps disconnecting even while my phone is in my hand. It requires me to re connect with the app. For the amount people have to pay for this device, you would think this company would invest more time into their app. Sadly that's not the case.

I contacted Cochlear support and they couldn't help. Don't assume that just because your phone can download the app that your phone will be able to stream sound from your phone. There are very few phones that it will work with for that. I should be able to customize the background. And every time I want to change the volume I have to wait 30 or more seconds for the app to open. It also drains my phone's battery. There is no reason not to have volume control on the Baha itself like they used to.

It's pretty basic. Find Your Baha isn't brilliant, it's no good telling me it's in the street where I live when it's inside my home. Why not make a much improved App with more functions & charge a subscription? It's not a lot of use having a battery indicator when it doesn't work, except a few minutes before the battery is dead. Ask your clients what add ons they would like. But please, upgrade the App!
