Ratings and reviews

This is a very awesome app for cataloging your whole music library. It is very easy to use. You just scan the barcode and all the info pops up. No barcode? You can take a picture of the cover and it will find it. There were a couple that weren't in there but you can add them yourself. I appreciate that it will have pictures of all the material.... front and back, paperwork, the Disk, songs and so much more. I highly recommend.

I used Record Scanner the last 12 months to catalogue 400+ Records and 1800+ CDs. Things I like are: 3 ways of identification; ability to export to Excel file; great amount of detail; really good response from asking questions of Artur. I ran into problems with changing payment details (a Google store thing). I have cancelled my subscription for the moment. I will subscribe again soon, this time with a simple shelf structure of probably 1-2 shelves (instead of 16) and do my sorting in Excel.

I've been using this app for over 3 years and the details it provides are invaluable to collectors. It will scan the album cover, a bar code, and even provide run-out information to determine where the record was pressed and when. The support team is great- always a response within 24 hours. This app is a must-have for serious vinyl collectors.
