JOIN EVENTS AT YOUR STORE
Quickly and easily join limited and constructed events at participating local stores. With Magic Companion you can easily find your next match and be notified when a new round begins.
How to participate in an event with Magic Companion:
1. Attend an event at participating local stores. Find one at locator.wizards.com
2. Open Magic Companion and select JOIN EVENT
3. Enter the Event Code provided by your local store.
4. Find your first matchup and get playing!

Ratings and reviews

Not having a tournament history and stats function is annoying. Not even showing the date of an event I've entered, or something as simple as an in-app calendar with events I've joined, is inexcusable. I also can't find my store (Germany) by town name or zip code (it shows up when I happen to be in the area). Works fine on the website. The one extra star is because the app does help with finding matchups quickly in events.

The app works, but it makes everything unnecessarily complicated. It randomly switches table numbers (making me look stupid for being at the wrong table). The rankings were useless at any time except the end of the current round. Things ran better when this was all done by hand.

I downloaded this app because I thought I could build a virtual version of my deck as well as a "wish-list" of cards I want to put in it. I thought I would be able to copy and paste the name of cards easily from the cards data base so that I could search for those cards in a stores data base, but the app will not let me copy and paste. It does not allow you to make virtual decks or wish-lists. Just keeping for the counter unless I switch to dice.
