I had lots of issues with it but my contacts have now upgraded their desktop software, and that seems to interact better with the android version. Still doesn't keep history despite paying for the software. Also, hit and miss if the user is shown as online or not. Unfortunately, my contacts aren't willing to move so I'm stuck with this software. Update: now I can't see any messages at all from my contact. Sigh. Update, still terrible.

The app was alright before, maybe a bit buggy in that it wouldnt send the occasional message, send others twice, or wouldnt give notifications even though it had every permission to run in the background. Now, it refuses to send my messages to a specific person for at least a week, for no reason. Others work fine.

This app was a super star during the days of multiple instant messaging apps ( AOL, Yahoo, FaceBook and others including the Trillian network ). I and friends still use it because of our loathing the newest Facebook chat app and it's blocking of third party "hooks" into their chat netwok.
