Meet the Renogy BT, a convenient way to manage and monitor your solar power system all in the palm of your hand. The Renogy BT app is compatible for use with our Rover Charge Controllers.

With this app, you'll be able to:
- monitor your solar panel voltage, current, and watts
- monitor your battery voltage, temperature, and charging amperage
- turn your controller's load terminal on/off
- monitor load voltage, current, and wattage
- adjust charge controller charging parameters (Boost, Float, and Equalization)
- set a timer on load terminals
- record the systems' daily data (battery voltage, watts charged, power generated)

This is a minimum effort app. I.E. Renogy put minimal effort into producing it. It does not allow the user to set a default controller to connect to. This means that every time you start the app you have to press add a controller then select what is possibly your only controller from a list. You will be doing that often as the app likes seems to suffer from amnesia. If the app appears to have forgotten your controller you will have to close the app and start over. Also the whole UI is tiny text

Rubbish. Graphs don't work, half the time won't connect. No real-time updates - need to kill app every time to view change in figures. No problems with any other device I own. Now I've switched phones, works even less reliably - other devices still work fine. Don't bother with the module, even if it does work the software doesn't. Just read the controller.

The app doesn't remember the device you last connected to, so needs to be re-paired every time you open the app. There are no graphs views showing stats over time - just a view of per day max and mins for some of the measured stats. All the data is available - it's just presented in the most basic way possible. There have been no app updates in over a year, so I doubt it will ever improve. Save your money, and don't buy the Bluetooth module for your renogy charge controller.
