Ratings and reviews

To start off, as a package, this is amazing at playing different ROMs and (at least for me) has worked 100% of the time. My first problem with the application was the UI. Though loading ROMs is easy enough, using the dPad on games is frustrating and oft inaccurate and there is no customisation options. Furthermore, the fact that it cannot be used offline due to there being 'no ads available' makes this hard to give more than 3 stars to.

It's good and all, you can change the speed and save state. 2 problems, 1: you have to watch an ad to load state which is kind of stupid. And second, even if you save state, half the time it doesn't save properly and takes away 3 hours of progress. Its good how it can run (almost) every rom but it doesn't work well.

This was a great emulator that I've used for many years. I've experienced the odd crash and there's a couple too many ads, but it's free software and they're mostly unintrusive so this has never bothered me much. The latest update for this has completely changed the app. It's reset the user Interface, lost the majority of my saves and settings, and now it can't even be full screen on my mobile without another advert hovering at the top. Thanks but no thanks, go drive your ad-revenue up elsewhere
