OK. I'm updating my previous review of this app and I'm reducing it to two stars. Why? Well, they may have introduced a nicer interface and fixed some of the instability issues but when I connect to a saber via Bluetooth the app requests access to my contact list and files on my phone. Given that this is a Chinese app and tech it has me slightly concerned as to why they want my contacts. I won't be using this on my phone in future and will modify my sabers via my PC.

The latest update is SO GOOD!! Only thing that I miss is that the actual battery percentage doesn't show, I guess it's a model issue? I updated firmware through the app though. Love that you can now rename the fonts to their proper names too. Would be good if they could show while scrolling, instead of after the selection if possible. Very much love the addition of custom fonts and functions! Gonna have so much fun with this because I've wanted to for example trigger the melt effect better.

This version is little glitchy sometimes staying connected, and it could do with a save setting to keep the last used volume, font etc when the saber is powered off, but asides from that.. It lets you control all the functions of the saber from your phone, change colours, fonts, sensitivity etc. The firmware upgrade worked fine, as did downloading and uploading the config. Looking forward to seeing the features that are coming soon.
