There is something wrong with this version on WiFi. The app connects fine using mobile data, but fails to connect on WiFi. The old apps works on the same WiFi without any problems. I wonder if there is a technical documentation somewhere that would list required ports and domains/IP addresses that the app would use (in case pihole/firewall blocks them). As for feedback on the app, nice work. On the other hand if I would have to rank my preferences... functionality and "snappiness" over design.

We are investigating a technical problem which is causing intermittent connectivity problems on the HKC SecureComm 2 app. The old SecureComm app will continue to work while we investigate this issue.

New app, same problem as the old one. It takes forever to connect or more often than not, won't connect at all. Reading the reviews, it is clearly not an issue with my wifi connection as everyone else is experiencing the same problems. The app is utter rubbish and not worth the subscription fees but I have no choice as this is the company my alarm provider is partnered with. They need to do better.

New system does not connect to arm alarm, keeps given no signal connection. When alarm went of got no notification on app or text to say there had been an entry. One of the reasons for choosing this service is to be able to monitor when not at home. Not impressed at all with the new upgrade. Hopefully this is just a few teething problems that can be fixed.
