In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of t​he game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME!!! This game is just as great as the real card game, but they make you pay for more card packs (Streaking Kittens, Party Pack, Betrayal Pack), it costs about the same as the game itself, the game only comes with the original pack. They also make you buy extra profile avatars if you don't want to use the ones that comes with the game(This costs about $/€/£ 1) If they could just give you all of this stuff once you buy the game, I would easily give this 5 stars.

excellent game, I love the art (unlike the second game), love sound effects (unlike the second game), love the user interface. My only wish is for seeing the number of players who queued for specific expansion in matchmaking before I queue for any of them. like a small number that shows, for example, how many are now queued for base game or for latest expansion.

is a fantastic digital take on the card game. While gameplay varies slightly, it stays true to its roots. The quirky characters, smooth interface, rematch feature, and genuinely funny interactions and animations make it easy to jump in and keep playing. A really enjoyable, well-executed adaptation. (Long time The Oatmeal and Exploding Kittens fan).
