fifty levels and very few have been challenging so far, there's no clear progression in difficulty either. feels like a bunch of randomly generated and ordered levels. Edit: at lvl 101 now, and there's been two or three interesting ones amidst a lot of repetitive ones. The repetitiveness and the grind is the problem, even if later levels get harder after solving hundreds. The game could really do with removing the "filler" ones that are all basically the same puzzle with different numbers.

That is only 10%. You are still in "easyland". Things do get harder and the last 100 or so are really hard for most. Enjoy and thank you for the feedback. Edit: That is true, but I designed it for young people and people who need the practice (very many do!). I admit, it is not a good game for people looking for hard puzzles.

Great game. But it doesn't have any difficulty pattern. You get the similar easy question in the beginning as well as in the end. Only a handful questions are tricky ones and others have similar approach like {0, 9, 1,8} It'll be better if easy levels in the beginning and difficult as levels increase, plus you can change the output for additing more approaches.

Great way to pass time and still feel somewhat productive. I remember being introduced to a game of a similar premise called "Just Make 10" by a teacher in elementary school, except it was a physical card game. I'm in university now, randomly remembered those times and dug through the app store before finding this game. Exactly what I was looking for. No gripes with this game at all, it's relaxing and stumps my sleepless brain at times. The soft haptic is also incredible, but that's just me :)

Thank you for the review and sharing your story. It is interesting to hear how many (re)connect with basic math. I wanted to make basic math fun/interesting, without cheap tricks like gems and badges. Help people dive into the numbers and see the patterns. Too many people fear math, usually because it is taught in a bad way IMO.
