Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and nature. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All the three forms help the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva in the creation, maintenance and destruction of the Universe. The Goddess is also revered by believers of the Jain religion of west and central India. This is the beej Mantra of Devi Saraswati.

Because Aim is associated with the Goddess Saraswati, chanting Aim aids us in learning, art, expression and communication. It represents the energy of sound, in Ayurveda and hence it strengthens the voice and the vocal chords.
