About this app

Città Curiosa is a completely free way to discover the area through personalized itineraries.

It does not want to be a simple tourist guide, but tries to enhance the culture, history, tradition of a territory by exploiting innovative technologies such as mobile-apps, augmented reality and social-gaming.

***
This year Città Curiosa is exploring the territories in Piedmont near Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore.
***

The main purpose is to connect the territory with the inhabitants who live there and the passing tourists.
This App wants to be the means to involve people of all ages, associations, schools and institutions to promote the territory or a specific topic.
Any town or city has curious monuments or places of interest to make known and Città Curiosa proposes just that.

Often the guides are not very personal, detached, because they are made by companies that do not know the area.
Città Curiosa has the guarantee of itineraries recommended and approved by local tourist associations, which can be on multiple themes and with real / virtual routes that manage to combine places with goods and contexts.

Just select the desired province, the city to visit and the time you have available.
Città Curiosa will find the most suitable itinerary for you.
Then just follow the suggestions to reach the first stage and continue on to the following ones, discovering new places and getting to know the culture of the area.

Be careful: not all paths are in the real world, you may find a treasure hunt or time-walking paths!
The ability of a technological support of this type, manages to create a connection between past and present to rediscover places and, thanks to technological support, make a comparison between how they were and how they are now.

Città Curiosa above all wants to have fun and a small Quiz at the end of each stage will allow you to earn points and be the first of your team!

*** Are you a local organization or association? ***
Enhance the points of interest in your country, your museum or your association, thanks to an App that shows and lets people know what's beautiful and curious to discover in your area.
Contact us and to have the opportunity to raise funds to support works and activities in the area.
Thematic and informative paths on companies or associations will be created, and it is possible to involve them to create an economic return for the activity itself.

It is possible to insert didactic / educational paths, in order to activate the participation of schools for a more effective learning method by the pupil.
It is also used for inclusive Montessori teaching based on discovery and interaction with the environment.

Not all cultural associations, Pro Loco, Municipalities have the ability to create apps of this kind and Città Curiosa is an opportunity.
