ads arrived, now constant glitches. Before the ads, I never had an issue. now, often when I try to check off a task as completed, it does NOT disappear, particularly when it is a recurring task. i find i have to go in and change the date to the next date it would happen. so annoying. I've had tasks that I swear I checked off as done, only to find them the next day as overdue.

I have used this app for a couple of years. It was simple and excellent and worth 5 stars - until a couple of months ago when very intrusive ads appeared - even when in the middle of setting up a new reminder. So distracting. Some, especially the virus-like Temu, can't be easily closed. I then have to exit To Do List and start again. I am now looking for a replacement. 6 Jan. 2026 The ads are even more intrusive. They block me after just beginning to delete or add something, causing me to leave.

Have been using this app for years. Advertising has been irritating but generally manageable, until this last week, when they have become intolerable, a new, video and pops up on every entry. Clearly they don't like me using it for free and are trying to make me pay. No way, too many alternative freebies out there.
