About this app

The LibreLinkUp[2] app is a companion app that allows you to monitor[3] and support people who are using FreeStyle Libre systems sensors and compatible an app from the FreeStyle Libre family of apps. You can link up by asking them to invite you in their app.

• History and insights: See recent history with the glucose graph or review a logbook of readings and alarms.
• In the minute notifications: caregivers can set and receive alarms[3] and notifications in the LibreLinkUp app, as well as receive glucose transfer alarms set by connections.

1. The FreeStyle Libre systems apps are designed to facilitate data sharing between patients and their healthcare providers and caregivers.
2. LibreLinkUp app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Check www.librelinkup.com for more information about device compatibility before using the app. Use of the LibreLinkUp app requires registration with LibreView.
3. The user’s device must have internet connectivity for glucose data to automatically upload to LibreView and to transfer to connected LibreLinkUp app users.

Ratings and reviews

Since the last update the quality dropped significantly. Very slow, often gives errors, always shows "No data" before finally loading the graph. Also, the vertical bar on the graph now won't stay where you put it, but will immediately return to the end of the graph (pretty useless). Waiting for all this mess to be fixed before updating my review. Also, it would be very useful if graphs from past days/weeks could be visualized.

Since the new update, the LibreLinkUp app has practically stopped working. It constantly loses connection, shows "no signal," freezes, and has become completely unreliable. This has caused a great deal of stress for me as the caregiver because I depend on it to monitor my loved one. I contacted customer support, but unfortunately they weren't able to help. The representative didn't offer any troubleshooting beyond what you find in theHelp section in the app, and the issue is still unresolved. Bo

My connection's sensor measures glucose automatically & data shows up on main app, but linkup refuses to relay it unless sensor is scanned manually(not always fix). Half-baked products, app & sensor. Nowhere to look for a fix - settings mostly empty (notif&acc only). No notifications at all despite being enabled properly. App barren, value, graph & legal disclaimer. Useful features missing, no development happenning. This is unacceptable for a health and safety app. Look elsewhere if you can.
