This review is for "Deer Plus" but I wasn't able to find it so I'm writing it here since this appears to be the same developer. The app would net another star (at the very least) if the its UI didn't sit under the phone's universal nav bar located at the base/bottom of the screen. This poor design makes it impossible to select buttons located at the bottom of the screen. Btw, if there's a setting to bring the app to the front or minimize the nav bar, I can't find it. Android: Samsung S23 Ultra

The app itself is nice and their courses for Asian languages are better than in some other apps. However, there are things missing (introduced vocab) or not explained. The tests do not accept all correct answers randomly. Or the correct answers have typos. They do not seem to respond to reported issues at all, that is quite frustrating.

Really enjoying it. Almost completed Japanese course 1 and have greatly improved using the kanji and hiragana options. Originally, the offline learning, online reviews, and lesson formats attracted me to the app. I have been working slowly but surely through the levels. (Just a suggestion, but a 'back' button within the lessons would be nice because I often hit 'continue' but need to go back and recheck a word or phrase.)
