How to Use Mood SMS
Using Mood SMS is easy. When you open the app, you’ll see your chats and contacts right away, making it easy to get a clear overview of all your messages. The app works like a familiar SMS and MMS messaging app, so everything feels easy to understand from the start. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find the navigation bar where you can explore all features. From here, you can access settings, customize your chats, browse emoji stickers, manage backups, and more.

Stay in control of when SMS announcements are active. With Silent Times, you can choose periods when message announcements should remain muted. Silent Locations let you select places where announcements should automatically stay silent, giving you more control at work, at home, or anywhere you don't want to be disturbed.

Ratings and reviews

I've been using Mood since 2018. I used it for a year; liked it so much that I paid for the full version. It worked well until the end of ‘24 when I stopped getting hyperlinks in group chats and pictures sent and received were very blurry. I emailed Mood support over a week ago and haven’t gotten a response. I really like all the features and settings, but links and attachments are a pretty basic function that it should handle, so I’m gonna switch to another app, at least for a while.

Messages are no longer showing in the notification shade, for the last 3 to 4 days. I do not know if I have missed messages until I open the app. If I am using my phone I can see the message pop up, but again it does not show up in the notification shade, and the notification sound does go off when not in silent mode with no issue. Please fix!!

I've had this app for years and absolutely love it. I even paid for the version without the small ads. But since the update today on Friday September 6th, every time I enter the app no matter what I do I am presented with a 2 to 3 minute loading screen. Had to uninstall because of that issue.
