The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the "schools." They are fun and can help beginners understand the game. It's also fun to replay some of the greatest players in the world games, like Bobby Fischer! But on the flip side, some of them on hard, like "Shogun Stronghold," require you to beat AI on Hard with a timer from a specific setup. Since the timer only counts for you, AI literally just blocks until the timer ends. instead of actually playing chess. That gets OLD FAST! Otherwise 5stars

played a while, got to the top in my country, reasonably high world wide. the problem with this app is there are not enough players and too many ads. pretty much after every game, you get 1-2 ads. if this were the only "free" chess app, that would be ok. as it is, I can play elsewhere with no ads. couple the ads with it being hard to get a game, and there's no reason to play here. uninstalled.

1 Minute game and 30 sec game option should be removed from this and it sucks totally. Between few moves sudden ads pop up. It takes us to a web page. you have to naviagate from that ad back to the game. During some games if the user has 5 secs only and he attempt to make a move, it never happens on the board. The user has excellent connection. Totally suck in those 2 types. Just remove those 2 options. Ads are popping up during the middle of 1 minute game when 2-3 secs are left.
