The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the "schools." They are fun and can help beginners understand the game. It's also fun to replay some of the greatest players in the world games, like Bobby Fischer! But on the flip side, some of them on hard, like "Shogun Stronghold," require you to beat AI on Hard with a timer from a specific setup. Since the timer only counts for you, AI literally just blocks until the timer ends. instead of actually playing chess. That gets OLD FAST! Otherwise 5stars

it's a colorful, visually pleasing game. With tons of options to learn it's a good game. Why 1 star? To remove ads the game is asking you to pay $40 but that's 85% off the original price of $270?? Because of that underhanded offer, I will speak out against this game. edit: $39.99 package also includes all the lessons... if that is your price, that's your price. Don't trick people with the claim it's a $270 package. nobody is paying $5 for a single chess puzzle.

The 40-second auto-resign timer doesn't work for my opponents. They rarely time out unless they "lose" internet connection. They can run down the clock for nearly 10 minutes without timing out. So that feature isn't working as intended. Also, sometimes I touch a piece once, then it will move quickly before I've chosen where to move to. I have lost matches due to unintentional moves like this. It just happened again. Will there be an update soon?
