This is a review for the latest update that has happened, I have played this game for over a year and a half, and It's always been a nice game, but today suddenly the game starts aggressively offering suggestions as to where I should place trains. Usually I let a few trains build up, see where the traffic is and put them there, suddenly today I'm being given constant prompts as to where to put the trains, which kind of kills the game. Whatever the update was, it's made the game much worse.

The game concept is very nice, although I'm not sure if intended or not, but at some point the game starts spamming you with too many circle stations, and you can only have so many different lines to compensate. I'd say this game is 50% strategy, and 50% luck in most cases. (Or rather 75/25).

Great fun, but it becomes incredibly difficult almost immediately. This wouldn't be a problem, as the mechanics are easy to understand, but fidgeting with multiple lines is frustrating, especially if they share similar paths. When editing a line it becomes difficult to select the correct one, or at times it will connect to the wrong station when two or more are too close together. This makes long sessions annoying, because the player will be constantly fighting the controls, instead of playing.

What’s new

We've stoked the boiler, greased the wheels, and polished the brass. No big changes with this update, just a few tweaks under the hood to keep everything running smoothly.
