About this app

The LibreLinkUp[2] app is a companion app that allows you to monitor[3] and support people who are using FreeStyle Libre systems sensors and compatible an app from the FreeStyle Libre family of apps. You can link up by asking them to invite you in their app.

• History and insights: See recent history with the glucose graph or review a logbook of readings and alarms.
• In the minute notifications: caregivers can set and receive alarms[3] and notifications in the LibreLinkUp app, as well as receive glucose transfer alarms set by connections.

1. The FreeStyle Libre systems apps are designed to facilitate data sharing between patients and their healthcare providers and caregivers.
2. LibreLinkUp app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Check www.librelinkup.com for more information about device compatibility before using the app. Use of the LibreLinkUp app requires registration with LibreView.
3. The user’s device must have internet connectivity for glucose data to automatically upload to LibreView and to transfer to connected LibreLinkUp app users.

Ratings and reviews

Always worked great until the new improved recent update (May 26). Now the app logs me out at least 3 times a week. I had to create a whole new account as the previously shared account was lost and then would not link to my old account. It also is a roll of the dice if the app will open or freeze on the logo screen and then close. I would much prefer to have the old working app back. The new version is not reliable enough for medical monitoring.

It's a great app. I can easily monitor my husband's latest sugar readings and judge which food is affecting his sugar levels. I see an issue/ could be enhanced feature with logbook. since I can see readings of only couple of hours back, if I wanna see previous day's data I need logbook for that. There I can see initial spike reading and then up arrow if increasing further, but it is not showing max how much it got spiked.. if that part is taken care that would be great. Great app. 👍 👌

Used to be great, since the update it's been AWFUL. Constantly losing connection, no alerts and keeps signing me out. Every time I then have to sign back in I have to go through all of the guidance pages (lots of them) before I can get to the readings. I hope this is fixed soon as it's making us want to leave libre and move to an alternative. Parents depend on this app. Update - I beg of you just throw this app in the bin and go back to the old one! 🙏
