I've been playing Shining Nikki for 18 months. The game looks pretty, the storyline is nice and overall runs pretty smoothly, as long as I'm connected to wifi. BUT it's way too expensive, so while it's f2p, the prettier suits and extra slots for different outfits and other things cost money, a lot of it. And it takes up WAY too much storage. It takes over 18GB and it wants even more with the new update! I'll play until my cards run out and then uninstall. The game is not worth it.

This game is so stressful for new players. While the designs and visuals of the game are very very pretty, the gameplay itself is unbearable. The homescreen for an example is completely cluttered with different features and icons to open, not to mention when you've first starting there's literally tutorials or guides for every single one of them that you can't even skip. The only really good part of the game is the details and work being put into it. It is, however, a headache to play

I really wanna be able to give Shining Nikli 4 stars, but I can't. I love the game, don't misunderstand- the 3D graphics are beautiful, outfits are stunning, and there's plenty of outfit variety. It follows the same progression as its sister game, with one big issue- the events. There is rarely an event that doesn't use diamonds, and that makes it hard for mainly free to play ppl, like me, to get full outfits, or even a main outfit piece. Still wroth your time, just keep it in mind.
