The FreeStyle Libre 3 app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor.

Ratings and reviews

It works, but takes like 5 seconds to open the app and show glucose. Way slower than the app for Libre 2, which showed blood sugar instantly when opening. Libre 3 also struggles with starting new sensors. Nfc is really inconsistent compared to Libre 2. Aside from the loading screen when opening the app it works just fine once the sensor finally connects. But only because you don't need nfc anymore after starting the sensor. It's definitely not bad, but I assume improvements are underway.

Definitely needs to be able to change the notification sounds. Very weird to not implement this for Libre3 when it was a feature for Libre2. Additionally the volume is extremely high for headphone users Update half a year later: No updates on the issues mentioned. The app is far from optimized which leads to a lot of frustration while waiting for the measurement and the today's graph to show up(it doesn't matter if it's five hours or five minutes since you checked in last). Lack of updates 1/5

Integrates with absolutely nothing that you need. Not Google health, no apps for counting carbs, and no apps for calculating needed insulin. The app is sluggish and lacks basic functionality like scrolling in the graph view. Are there any other options or do they have a monopoly? Can we demand data interchange as part of our gdpr data portability rights?
