With a total of 572 hiking destinations in our region, this year's Stikk UT! season is bigger than ever. The Stikk UT! app comes in a new improved version, and for the first time you can also go to Stikk UT! tour destinations elsewhere in the country, as many as 82 municipalities are involved. Remember to check the postponed opening date in the tour description!
– The commitment around Stikk UT! is huge. We facilitate good public health in collaboration with our 28 participating municipalities, teams and organisations, landowners and local zealots. Good encounters between people and nature promote quality of life and we are super happy to offer so many great hiking destinations, 187 of which are wheelchair-friendly, say Liv Synnøve Hoel of the Nordmøre Outdoor Activities Council and Hilde Ellingsæter of the Sunnmøre Outdoor Activities Council.
In this year's map brochure, which these days arrives in the mailboxes of all residents of Møre and Romsdal, as well as Heim, the outdoor council invites everyone to go on a trip.
Get OUT! Norway
The outdoor councils work together with the participating municipalities to promote outdoor life for everyone, and we are proud that several outdoor councils in Norway also see how Stikk UT! contributes to great activity and enjoyment of walking.
For the first time, you can register Stikk UT! tour destinations in several places in the country. During this year's launch of Stikk UT! Norway has a total of 82 municipalities, and offers around 1,600 tourist destinations. The goal is an escalation to even more locations in Norway in the coming years. The outdoor councils in Nordmøre and Romsdal and on Sunnmøre have joined seven other outdoor councils in the country. Five of them are in northern Norway – Finnmark, Nord-Troms, Midt-Troms, Vesterålen, Midtre Hålogaland – as well as Fjordane in the west and Lister in the south.
