Ethnographic Park, which is a branch of the Museum of the Kielce Village, is located in Tokarnia, away from Kielce about 20 km. Heritage Park covers an area of over 60 hectares, divided into several sectors: Provincial, Upland, Holy Cross, loess, Manor Folwarczny and Vistula. The collected objects in them are the legacy of Polish culture and rural tradition. All of them can be seen in the mobile application, which complements the tourist offer of the museum.
The application shows not only objects, each of which has an image, geographical coordinates and description, but also proposes tourists visiting the museum with prepared trails of various lengths. An interesting element of the application are quests, or verse puzzles to solve which guides you through the objects. Thanks to them, you can learn traditional crafts village of Kielce, to fathom the mysteries of the ancient beliefs, or see the work of the miller and niciorza.
Thanks to the GPS technology, the user may at any time to know your exact position on a map to find an object of interest to him and find the shortest way for the application to automatically determine. Move on the map contained in the application diversifies also interesting graphics, which presents objects and the entire area of the museum in a way very similar to their actual appearance. Helpful is also the option to travel, which will lead the user to park anywhere.
Mobile guide works offline, internet connection is only required to update the content, the choice of which you can decide for yourself. Content in the application have been prepared in two languages: Polish and English.
