BlackPlayer is a MP3 Music player that plays local content.

You can tweak the design to your liking with the powerful settings available. Swipe in the middle of the screen to navigate between the pages. Tap on the top titles for additional options. The mp3 music player keeps tracks of your most played Artists and Albums giving you a smart startpage called 'Play Now' with suggestions what to play.

Update: the developer has replied to me how to get those features back, so now i can only complain about unintuitive settings layout. So yeah, it is the best player out there. The features were: 1. In the artist page the albums slider is small and inconvenient. It was better when the whole page was an album listing. 2. On the album page there were buttons to play now and queue the whole album. Where have they gone now?

As a lover of almost 10 years of this app. It's gone to garbage. It Used to connect and play music automatically once connected via Bluetooth or headphones. Then they stopped it. The connectivity to my car is frustrating, takes super long and no auto play. The album. Covers don't even update in the library anymore. Even when you try to update manual When you ask the developer for advice, good luck in getting any response. It's time to move on. Power amp free version is what I've moved onto.

This was my favorite app for many years but the latest update made it bad. I'm hoping they fix it soon because the album covers are all merging together or they won't update at all when I try to manually set them. It's asking way too much for them to set automatically, of course that feature doesn't work. Hopefully the next update is soon and they fix this issue.
