Ratings and reviews

Usually use this on my laptop as it's easier to type there. It's an amazing service but the app has some issues. The main one being that I can't open my journal without the app crashing, I can only add a new entry. For context, I have a password set and I do add photos to my entries sometimes (which makes the PC/web version lag a bit). Would rate higher if this issue is resolved.

I've been using Penzu since 2017. Never had any issues and really enjoyed it. However, two days ago, one of my journals that I had since 2017 with tons of entries went missing, and I was really nervous it was gone for good. However, after a couple of emails I sent to support, they did get back to me and retrieved all my files. I am truly grateful. However, I can't give it five stars until they have a way to back up the files with like Google Drive or DropBox.

I've had this app for some years. There was a period when I stopped journaling. However, I slowly worked my way back into it. I tried other apps, but they always had some sort of issue that pushed me away. So far this app does have a few nice features such as adding pictures, locking your journal with 3 different types of locking systems, and you can purchase the premium option to have more features.
