Initiated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in 2016, the PBC Forum seeks to explore and promote innovative approaches to tackle complex urban social issues by bringing together new and longstanding partners from around the world in a collaborative pursuit of learning, leverage and social change.
This year's PBC Forum is set to make history as it takes place in one of the world's largest cultural projects – WKCD. We will be hosting 1,200 delegates simultaneously across three major cultural facilities: the Hong Kong Palace Museum, M+ and Freespace.
The overarching theme of PBC Forum 2023 is “Philanthropy for Fairer Societies”. The PBC Forum aims to host discussions among philanthropic, academic, business, social sector and government leaders that reimagine new service models, covering various topics including equal access to opportunities, equitable distribution of resources, access to education and healthcare, creation of jobs and economic opportunities, etc. We are confident that the PBC Forum will stimulate new thinking, challenge the status quo and bring about renewed impetus and motivation for change toward fairer societies in the future.
