This app allows you to connect various MIDI devices and applications.

RTP-MIDI is also known as "appleMIDI" and can now be used with Android devices running this app. It will also broadcast your device on bonjour services.

MIDI Connector Free has 1 Trail "connector", which act like a MIDI cable between an input and output. You can safely switch apps, MIDI Connector will keep the connections in the background. MIDI Connector will also log the messages and connection status. MIDI Connector will notify the user when devices are removed. MIDI Connector will host 2 virtual ports to use as inputs and outputs for other applications. Settings allow you to disable or adjust certain features.

Ratings and reviews

Neat app and it's the only RTP MIDI app I could find that allows connecting to other apps. I would give it more stars but think the ads are really over done for a demo and find the app to be really unstable, even more so with faster notes. I'm using a Motorola edge 20 fusion running Android 11 and the app disconnects and crashes a lot.

Brilliant. Connects my Bluetooth controller to my SWAM cello. Can't do it natively in Windows because of some bug that drops the BT connection all the time. Plus, I can see all the messages; fantastic! If it continues to work well, I'll be purchasing the pro version...

Perhaps the most obnoxious ad experience in all of Android. Constantly closes connection apparently based on the ad state
