A new easy way to pay your Local Earned Income Tax in Pennsylvania!
If you live in a PA district where Berkheimer is the collector, you can use this app to easily submit and file your local EIT tax returns.

Currently two scenarios are supported:
1. Submit a completed paper return.
If you have completed a Local Earned Income Tax Return, you can take photos of the return, any supporting documents and schedules, enter the amount owed or the refund amount, pay by credit card, and submit your return to Berkheimer.
2. Generate an EZ return if you only have W2s.
If your EIT Return can be completed with only W2s, then you can take photos of your W2s and enter your employer and wage information. The app will calculate your tax liability or refund. You can then pay by credit card and submit right in the app.
More filing scenarios will be added as we add more functionality to the app.

The app works fine for paying per capita taxes, except for the fee. It's not easy to use to file your yearly local taxes, I ended up doing it on-line. The convince fee they charge to pay your taxes is robbery. To pay $390, it costs $9.77 fee to use the app to pay. That's ridiculous!!!!

very easy to use app.... although taking the image of w2 needs some work. I had to retake 5 times for you have no time to get image inside frame before it's automatically taking it for you. Way easier if we could take it.....

It's very convenient but it also very outrageous on the BS convenience fee they charge you. like just to pay my school taxes they charge you a min of 2 dollars or 2%. I don't understand how making this easier on both them and us would make them charge us more for taxes. It limits the paper usage and the filing time for someone to deposit a check.
