No complaints here. I used this app for access to write down things when I would be disconnected somehow from wifi/phone data. I do realize it is like the notes section of most phones, I just wanted something with an option to lock because I used it like a mobile journal. It helps for very basic uses -- thoughts, ideas, dreams, goals, basic organization, and important notes as I previously mentioned. Do as you please with it, this is a great option in my opinion, for a personal journal.

I've been using this app for quite a while now and I love it. The (I think)$.99 I paid for the ad free version was totally worth it. Plus they just introduced themes! Yay! My only complaint is that the home screen shows the first line of the journal entry under the title line. Otherwise: A-ok, #1!!! Update: March 2025 still using this app and still digging it!

For my needs (and admittedly, everyone's are different), this was the best option available a while back, when I was using my prior smartphone (a bit more primitive, let's say). All I wanted was free, simple & private... 3 for 3. When I got my next phone (a considerable upgrade), I was eager to browse/try the newer, more tricked-out apps that were available. So I did..... And saw that I really didn't need much more than what was already here, in THIS app !!!
